PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of various shapes and to improve the attracting force of an engaging tool by attracting a ferromagnetic plate having a cut and erected part at one or both sides through a hole formed at a permanent magnet made of a specific material contained in a nonmagnetic unit. CONSTITUTION:A hole 1a is opened at a permanent magnet made of rare earth element powder, such as samarium, cobalt, etc., and synthetic resin and formed in an annular plate state. A permanent magnet 1 is engaged within a nonmagnetic case 4, and the magnet 1 and a ferromagnetic plate 1 are integrally engaged by an engaging piece 4b. Ferromagnetic projections 3a, 2a protruding from a ferromagnetic plate 3 abutting through a case 4 against the pole face (b) of the magnet 1 and/or from a ferromagnetic plate 2 are detachably attracted through the hole 1a to one another or to the plate 2 or 3. Since the magnet has much larger holding force than a ferrite, an excellent attracting force is provided. The magnet can be molded by charging in a cast mold and can be easily formed in various shape.
