<p>The excrement collector consists of a flat piece of a stiff material, such as card. This is cut and scored so that it can be folded into the shape of a scoop with a flat base (1), vertical sides, a back (2,3) and a handle (4). Slotted flaps (5,6) are joined together at the back of the scoop to ensure that it remains rigid while in use. An additional toothed edged section (7) is attached by perforations to the front of the scoop and can be removed to act as a scraper. The scoop can be joined to a bag which is used to enclose the scoop, scraper and faeces after use for disposal. ADVANTAGE - Improved urban hygiene.</p> |
