PURPOSE:To relieve a trouble managing a set address by sending an address setting request from a slave set to a master set, sending an address and an address setting instruction from the master set to the slave set and allowing the master set and the slave set to store the address respectively so as to allow the user to omit the trouble of setting the address to the master set and the slave set. CONSTITUTION:When the address reset key 208 of the slave set 201 added newly is depressed by the user, as soon as the content of a storage section 29 is cleared (e.g., zero), a microcomputer 206 sends an address setting request code STRQ to the master set 101. The microcomputer 206 of the master set 101 stores it in a storage section 108. The address other than that set already is selected out as the set address STAD to the slave set 201 and the STAD and the address setting instruction code STCOM are sent to the slave set 201. The slave set 201 writes the STAD into the storage section 209 according to the STCOM. Then the microcomputer 206 reads the content of the storage section 209 (slave address ADO) and sends it to the master set 101 together with a setting end code STEND. The master set 201 uses the storage section 108 to store the address of the slave set into the storage section 108 to complete the address setting.
