PURPOSE:To make a small-sized and simple air conditioner and enable an effective and easy air conditioning operation to be carried out by a method wherein a function for mixing indoor air with conditioned air and another function for removing dust from either the indoor air or mixed air are provided. CONSTITUTION:Indoor air RA induced under a blowing operation from an air conditioner and sucked into the inner-most peripheral cylinder part is passed through a filter 5 in the midway of its flow path, blown from a blowing port 6 and then mixed with conditioned air CA blown from an adjoining blowing port 4. Feeding-in or feeding-out of the indoor air RA to or from an air feeding port G can be carried out without any discharging ducts. Since the indoor air RA is passed through the filter 5 in the feeding-in or feeding out operation to cause the air to be cleaned, the mixing of the conditioned air CA and the indoor air RA may not provide any pollution of the conditioned air CA. Therefore, an amount of conditioned air CA to be fed out from the air feeding duct E is less and thus the air feeding duct E can be reduced in its size.
