PURPOSE:To permit anyone to easily operate by receiving to a telephone set if an opposite being a calling side is the telephone set, and to a facsimile if the opposite is the facsimile even if the telephone set and a non-telephone terminal are disposed in parallel in one telephone line. CONSTITUTION:A titled controller has a call signal detection means 43, a first switching means 30 which switches and connects a first circuit 2 between a second and a third circuits 3 and 12, and a second switching means 31 which selectively switches and connects the second circuit 3 between a fourth circuit 17 connected with a signal detection means 49, and a fifth circuit 4 which is connected with the non-telephone terminal 47. It also has a third switching means 32 which selectively switches between a sixth circuit 13 which is connected with a call signal generation means 56 and an off-hook detection means 55 and the third circuit 12, and which connects to a seventh circuit 14 which is connected with a telephone terminal 54, and a first timer means 51 counting a previously decided first prescribed time. Thus, the telephone set and the facsimile are set to operate in such a way that they are respectively connected with independent telephone lines.
