The unit consits of three separate belts driven by two pairs of rollers above each other. The bottom pair of to rollers carries a conveyor belt in stainless steel coated with rubber and perforated. Filter operates also as a conveyor belt on the same pair of bottom rollers and in addition over solid scrapping, washing and tightening rollers situated below the unit. Below the stainless steel rubber coated conveyor belt are the suction vessel, two filtration zones and a drying zone. The top pair of rollers carries the filter frames which below the driving rollers is in contact with the filter and the stainless steel conveyor belts. The filter frame belt consists of two parallel belts separated by distant plates forming the side wall of the frames and cross beams, completing the frames. The frame belt is of elastic material such as rubber. At the point of contact of the three belts the system is vacuum tight. |
