<p>An image forming method wherein a latent image is formed by subjecting an image retainer (1) having a photoconductive layer (12) to an image exposure, a toner image is formed by developing the latent image with a toner (T), the step of forming the latent image and the step of forming the toner image are repeated at least one time, and the plurality of toner images formed on the image retainer (1) is transferred to a transfer material (P). At least one of the toner images is formed with a toner (T) which has such a spectral transmissivity as to substantially absorb a visible light but transmit a light having a wavelength of 750 nm or more. The latent image is formed by subjecting the image retainer (1) bearing the toner image to an image exposure with a light (L) containing a wavelength component of 750 nm or more.</p> |
