PURPOSE:To obtain a blow molded item with the main body connected through a solid connecting section to an anchoring section, by using a mold that has a special stcture for forming said connecting section when the hollow main body, the cylindrical anchoring section and their connecting section are monolithically to be blow molded. CONSTITUTION:After a melt (parison) 12 is suspended in split type molds 11 that includes a cavity 14 with a configuration corresponding to the hollow section 5, the connecting section 4 and the cylindrical anchoring section 3, and having cylinders 15 each with a cylinder 15, the molds 11 is closed with the parison 12 between them, and a pressurized fluid is introduced. Then the cylinders 15 are actuated to project projecting plate 16 until the connecting section becomes solid, so that the connectection 4 is formed and the intended molded body can be obtained. USE:As holders or the like for codes, pipes, etc. arranged in an engine room of an automobile. |
