摘要 PURPOSE:To make a smooth separation of hot drain water and hot feeding water uniformly without staying or accumulation of it and provide a heat exchanging operation in an efficient manner by a method wherein each of an odd number of vertical sections and an even number of vertical sections of a main body case and each of bay-shaped portions of an odd number of and an even number of lower headers are communicated to each other. CONSTITUTION:Two water feeding areas c1 and c2 and three drain areas d1-d3 are alternatively arranged in vertical direction within a main body case (a). A partition wall 9 is provided within an upper header (e), a water feeding area f0 and a hot drain area g0 are divided, two bay-shaped portions f1 and f2 are formed in the water feeding area f0 and three bayd- shaped portions g1, g2 and g3 are formed in the hot drain area g0. Within the lower header (h), two bay-shaped portions i2 and i2 are formed at the water feeding area i0 through a partition wall 12 and three bay-shaped portions j1 and j2 are formed at the hot drain water area j0. Water fed from the water feeding inlet k1 to the water feeding area i0 is passed through the water feeding area f0, and taken out of the feeding water taking-out port k2. Hot drain water flowing from the hot drain water inlet l1 to the hot drain area g0 is passed through hot drain areas d1, d2, d3 and hot drain area j0 and taken out form the hot drain taking-out port l2 and then heat exchanged through a heat accumulation wall (b) and the partitions walls 9 and 12 and the like.
