PURPOSE:To enable the failure of a diode to be detected even when a power source is normal by providing a diode failure detecting circuit and the like. CONSTITUTION:Power sources 3-1-3-3, diode failure detecting circuits 4-1-4-3, a high frequency oscillator, high frequency current blocking circuits 6-1-6-3 and the like are provided. High frequency current is supplied from a high frequency power source to diodes D1-D3. At this time, when the diodes D1-D3 are normal, a half-wave rectification waveform is obtained by the rectifying action of the diodes. However, when the diodes have a short-circuit failure, the high frequency current is not rectified and, when the diodes have an open circuit failure, the high frequency current does not flow. The presence or absence of the failure in the diodes can be discriminated by such conditions. On the other hand, in the failure of the diodes, even though the high frequency current is supplied to the diodes, the high frequency current does not flow to a load bus 2 due to the circuits 6-1-6-3. Accordingly, the failure of the diodes can be detected even when the power supplies are normal. |
