OBJECT RECOGNIZING SYSTEM BASED UPON TIME SERIES OF OBSERVATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To identify a similar object by forming time series data in the observation method of an unknown object and collating the formed data with time series data in the observation method of a reference object. CONSTITUTION:An observation part 6 observes an object and outputs its two-dimensional image and an observation method extracting part 7 extracts the observation method of the object. The time series data of the observation method formed by the extracting part 7 are applied to a collating circuit 10 through a time series data forming circuit 8 and a time series observation method register 9 and collated with the observation method of a reference object obtained from a reference time series observation method memory 12 and a reference time series observation method register 11. A coincidence degree holding circuit 13 holds the degree of coincidence obtained by the circuit 10 and an object identifying circuit 14 determines the object having the reference observation method with the highest degree of coincidence as an observed object.
