<p>PURPOSE:To increase a printing speed and the to dispense with even an input buffer necessary at the time of processing due to CPU, by reversing the input direction of data at every predetermined number of bits by a counter and selecting the data output terminals of bidirectional shift registers by an output selection circuit. CONSTITUTION:When printing data are inputted, a switch 30 is changed over to the contact 38 on the side of a parallel/serial converter. As a result, the printing data inputted are directly transmitted to the parallel/serial converter 7 without passing through CPU while the converted data 9 are inputted to a serial data reversal circuit 22. The serial data outputted from the parallel/ serial converter 7 are outputted to shift registers 11 from the first bit to the 32-nd bit in the order of input and the data from the 33-rd bit to the 64-th bit are outputted while the order of input is reversed and, hereinbelow, in the same way, the wherein data arranging order is reversed at every 32 bits are outputted.</p> |
