PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of printing density irregularity, by method wherein the resistance value R of a heat generating resistor is regulated with respect to the irregularity of the resistance value Rw of a wiring pattern so as to form a specific condition when a certain definite resistance value relating to the desired heat generating quantity of the heat generating resistor is set to R0. CONSTITUTION:Each of the resistance values Rw of wiring patterns 2a, 2b is 20-40OMEGA. The wiring resistance value Rw of each wiring pattern is preliminarily measured and the definite resistance value R0 determined in relation to the desired heat generating quantity of a heat generating resistor is set to 1.0kOMEGA. The resistance value R of the heat generating resistor is regulated corresponding to the wiring resistance value Rw by laser trimming so that the resistance value R of each heat generating resistor almost satisfies formula R=R0-2Rw. Thereafter, an Au-film is formed as a common electrode 4 by thick film printing and a protective layer is formed of a glass material and a drive circuit 3 is bonded to constitute a thermal recording head. |
