PURPOSE:To facilitate the editing work of diagnostic knowledge in a knowledge base by changing a part of a graphic form displayed on a display device by new data to automatically convert it to a rule. CONSTITUTION:A part of the graphic form displayed on a display device 24 is pointed as a data input position by a data input position pointer 25, and this part of the graphic form is changed when new data is inputted to this pointed position from an input device 14. When this part of the graphic form is changed, a knowledge graphic converting mechanism 23 of a diagnostic knowledge editing device 20 changes diagnostic knowledge such as a rule in a knowledge base 11 corresponding to the changed graphic form. |
