PURPOSE:To make an analytical time efficient, by making it possible to immediately confirm the presence of a component such as an element or a compound or the shift of a peak position on the way of analysis. CONSTITUTION:The component name of the element or compound assumed to be contained in a specimen is preliminarily designated by a component name disignation means 12. Whereupon, a control circuit 18 reads the data of each peak position of the corresponding component from a reference spectrum data memory 16 on the basis of the component name designated by the component name designation means 12. Then, this data is given to a mark signal generating circuit 22. The circuit 22 refers to the data of each peak position read by the control circuit 18 to output a signal generating the mark of the component name or line at the predetermined position on the display picture 30 corresponding to each peak position of a reference spectrum. Next, a display means 24 preliminarily displays the mark generated in the circuit 22 and superposes the profile of an energy spectrum during measurement to said mark to display said mark. By this method, the efficiency of a spectrum analytical time can be enhanced. |
