PURPOSE:To prevent oligomers from adherence on the surface of a roll and to make a complicated cleaning operation unnecessary, by electrifying a film extrusion-molded from a die and thereby adhering tightly it on the surface of the roll. CONSTITUTION:A polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) film extruded from a T-die 1 is drawn, cooled on the surface of a cooling roll 2 and separated from the surface of the cooling roll 2 by means of peeling-off roll 4. A wire 3 for electrification faces the cooling roll 2. This wire is being kept at a distance of about 5mm from the surface of the cooling roll 2 and being stretched over about the whole film length in the width direction of the film wound on the roll 2. A direct high voltage of about 6.5kV is charged on this wire 3. The film is electrified by means of the wire 3 and is tightly adhered on the surface of the cooling roll 2 by electrostatic attraction. As the electrified PPS is tightly adhered on the surface of the cooling roll 2 by electrostatic attraction, white oily stain due to oligomers is scarcely adhered on the surface of cooling roll 2 after the cast film 5 is peeled off and the surface of the cooling roll 2 can be thereby always kept in a smooth condition. |
