PURPOSE:To perform the switching of a page automatically, by switching a display to another display when the number of characters possible to be displayed on the display arrives at the number of limitation. CONSTITUTION:A code signal from an input operation circuit 11 is converted to a conversion signal at a conversion circuit 12, and is inputted to a display switching circuit 19 and a character quantity decision circuit 18. The display switching circuit 19 outputs an inputted conversion signal to a first output circuit 13. The conversion signal inputted to the first output circuit 13 is displayed on a first display 2 as a character signal. Meanwhile, the character quantity decision circuit 18 decides whether the number of inputted conversion signals arrives at the number of limitation of character marks possible to be displayed on the first display, and when it arrives at the number of limitation, it outputs a switching signal to the display switching circuit 19. The display switching circuit 19 receiving the input of the switching signal switches the conversion signal from the conversion circuit 12, and outputs it to a second output circuit 17. The conversion signal inputted to the second output circuit 17 is displayed on a second display 3 as a character and a mark.
