PURPOSE:To surely hold a blank by the finger of a transfer feeding device and to enable the high speed running of a press by holding the blank by a plunger and descending it in a die stably in case of moving the blank punched from a blank stock to the die for working of the succeeding stage. CONSTITUTION:After feeding a blank iron plate 58 onto a die 8 an upper part plunger 36 starts its descent as well simultaneously with a slide 3 starting to descend from the upper dead center. When the slide 3 reaches the lower dead center position, the blank iron plate 58 is punched by a punch 4 and die 8 and worked in a blank stock 59, held between the upper part plunger 36 and lower part plunger 48 as well and simultaneously the lower part plunger 48 is synchronously descended as well. When it reaches the holding position between the fingers 12, 12 of the transfer feeding device in succession, the blank stock 59 is released from the upper and lower parts plungers and the blank stock 59 pinched by the fingers 12, 12 is transferred stably to the die of the succeeding sage.
