PURPOSE:To imprint data in a nonphotographic frame by sending identification data from an identification data storage part to an imprinting means and imprinting the identification data on an unexposed part when it is discriminated that the unexposed part of a film reaches an imprinting means. CONSTITUTION:An operating member 102 sets whether photographic data recorded or not and whether imprinting is performed or not. A RAM 108 is stored with photographic information data and data to be imprinted when the shutter is released and when rewinding operation is started, a light emitting device driving part 105 turns on and off an LED array 15 under the control of a CPU 100-1. When a fork 62 starts rewinding a film, a sprocket 61 rotates and a gear 56 rotates on a signal substrate 64. Pulse signals for the position detection of the film and the timing detection of the imprinting of dots are sent from signal pins P1-P3 during the rotation and the information to be imprinted is sent out of the RAM 108 to the LED array 15 as a light source for imprinting, so that the data is imprinted.
