PURPOSE:To perform the displacement transfer smoothly by communicating an intermediate-pressure chamber and a compression chamber, providing an opening/closing valve opened or closed by the cooling load, and providing a spool operated by the pressure of a high-pressure chamber and the intermediate- pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:A pin 36 is inserted into the long hole 39 of a spool 38 via the inner arc hole 37 of a front side plate 2 through a rotary plate 32. An opening/closing valve 50 opened or closed by the cooling load is provided on a communicating path 48 between a compression chamber and an intermediate- pressure chamber 43. When the cooling load becomes large, the opening/closing valve 50 is closed, the oil in an oil separating chamber 8 is fed by pressure to a high-pressure chamber 42, the spool 38 is moved to the intermediate- pressure chamber 43 side, the rotary plate 32 is rotated, and the small- displacement operation can be quickly transferred to the large-displacement operation.
