PURPOSE:To stabilize winding conditions and facilitate performing precision operation securely by a method wherein a wire is wound while a certain tension is given to the wire by guide pins which are provided on both ends of a long hole formed in a sliding board. CONSTITUTION:A wire W is wound around a guide pin 6 provided on one end of a long hole 5 to be folded back and then the tip of the wire W is passed through the wiring hole 21 or the gap of a work 20 from one side of the work 20 and the tip of the passed end of the wire W is held by a finger member 31 and drawn out from the other side. At that time, a sliding board 4 is made to slide to the other side by the drawing-out of the wire W and a certain tension is given to the wire W by a friction between the sliding board 4 and a base table 1 which is induced by the sliding. When the wire W is drawn out from the other side, the wire W is wound around a guide pin 7 provided on the other end of the long hole 5 to be folded back and, at the same time, the engagement state of the wire W and the guide pin 6 close to the work 20 is relieved and the winding is tightened. By repeating the above mentioned operation, the winding operation can be performed while a certain tension is always given to the wire W by the guide pins 6 and 7.
