PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit by providing a relay terminal for a called signal to an interface section as an option board mounted to a receiver main body and allowing the sink main body to use to turn on an AC switch through a backup power supply. CONSTITUTION:The sink main body such as a personal computer 23 is provided with a power application control circuit 29 equipped with a backup power supply 28, an AC switch 30 and a called signal CI detection circuit section 34. A MODEM 38 is connected to a telephone line 35, demodulates a reception signal and inputs the result to an external input terminal 25 of the option board 24. when a CI signal is detected in the demodulation signal, it is inputted to an external input terminal of the personal computer 23 via the relay terminal 27. In detecting the CI signal, the personal computer 23 uses the backup power supply 28 to turn on the AC switch 30. Thus, the circuit constitution is simplified to avoid excess installation and automatic incoming is applied even at disconnection of power supply.
