<p>A number of elemental rods, each with a spiral spacer, are arranged in a regular pattern within an outer sheath and maintained at fixed spacing from their neighbours and from that outer sheath. This spacing is smaller at the periphery of the assembly than between rods in the interiors equalizing the flow density of the coolant stream.</p> |
