PURPOSE:To correct the deviation of a driven unit without moving the mounting position of a position detection means, by correcting the deviation of the stopping position of the driven unit through an electric inputting means. CONSTITUTION:The reference position of a carriage 2 is selected generally at a home position. The reference position of the carriage 2 is detected by a method wherein the light path of a light sensor 21, arranged at a predetermined position, is screened by a screening plate 22, fixed to the carriage 2. The fine adjustment of the reference position may be effected simply by a method wherein the carriage 2 is moved by an electric setting means, such as a DIP switch 101 or the like, into the direction B or the direction F by the number of step, set in the DIP switch 101. |
