PURPOSE:To enable even whatever working of a work with one press die and to improve the yield of a material as well by equipping a transfer mechanism inside one press die in the press die having a transfer feeding mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate blank is punched in a square blank at a 1st station with moving it in the work feeding direction and formed in a cup shape by subjecting it to a drawing at a 2nd station. A step part is formed on the side wall of the cap at a 3rd station and the side wall base part is restruck as well, and a hole is made at the apex part of the cap at a 4th station. A flange is then formed at the lower part extending over the whole periphery of the hole at a 5th station, and after forming a projecting part in all directions by notching a flange at a 6th station, the projecting piece in a product shape is formed by cutting the outer peripheral part of the projecting part at a 7th station and finally the tip part of the projecting piece is bent to the lower part at a 8th station.
