PURPOSE:To decrease the quantity of software by allowing a node connected to a communication network to send an affirmative acknowledge from its own node in succession to the affirmative acknowledge of other nodes in the predetermined order when the said node receives a multiple address data. CONSTITUTION:A LAN control section 10 of a node is connected to the communication network via a local area network LAN interface 20. In receiving (16) a multiple address data from the other node, an affirmative acknowledge transmission/reception control section 15 allows an ACK continuous reception counter 13 to receive an ACK signal and its address generated from other nodes continuously. when the sequence of its own node turns around by a data stored in an address management table memory 11, the ACK signal is sent to the LAN from its own node via a sequence generating circuit 12 and a control section 15 through the data transmission/reception section 18 and a LAN interface 20. When its own node sends a multiple address data, a timer 14 monitors the reply of the ACK signal from other nodes. Thus, the quantity of the software is decreased and the transmittal confirming time is reduced.
