PURPOSE:To braze as one body a heat exchanger made of Al and a fitting member by cladding an Al material in which the content of a substance for making a compound is small, to the brazing side face of the fitting member, at the time of brazing to F in a non-corrosive flux such as Mg, etc. CONSTITUTION:A tank 10 of a heat exchanger made of Al is constituted of a core material 11 consisting of an A3003 material, and an in-furnace brazing use brazing filler metal 12 consisting of A4343 cladded to said core material 11. A fitting member 20 made of Al is constituted of a core material consisting of A7NO1, and a joining material 22 consisting of A3003 cladded to said core material 21. The tank 10 and the fitting member 20 are brought to a pre- treatment by a brazing method using a well-known non-corrosive flux, and thereafter, brought to temporary assembling, heated by a heating furnace, and by brazing each joining part, a heat exchanger is obtained. In such a way, even if the non-corrosive flux infiltrates, since Mg, etc., are positioned in a part separated from the joining part, F in the flux is not eliminated by Mg, etc., and the fitting member 20 is brazed to the tank 10.
