PURPOSE:To display more kinds of data by providing a light quantity detector at a position conjugate to an observation image, and obtaining the output of the light quantity detector during observation and photography and controlling the quantity of light emission of a data display light emission body. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of photographic light is converted from a current to a voltage by a photodetector PT arranged at the position nearly conjugate to the observation image and a buffer amplifier AMP and inputted to the plus terminal of a comparator COP. Proper light quantity data outputted by a CPU 1 is D/A-converted by a D/A converter and inputted to the plus terminal while added to the photographic light quantity output. Namely, the signal obtained by superposing an offset (light quantity data) on the photographic light quantity is inputted to the plus terminal of the comparator COP. Then, a triangular wave generated by a triangular wave generating circuit is inputted to the minus terminal of the comaprator COP, so the output of the comparator COP follow up the photographic light quantity in real time in proportion.
