PURPOSE:To facilitate the loading and unloading of a disk by allowing a disk housing to be movable to the opening side position and playing side position by the operation of a pin which is engaged in an engagement groove and also a guide groove arranged in a feed member of back and forth movement. CONSTITUTION:A transfer mechanism 13 moving a disk housing 3 to two positions at its opening side and playing side respectively is provided with an engagement pin 16 for transmitting the movement of a feeding nut 17 to the disk housing 3 and an engagement groove 17a provided on the feeding nut 17. The engagement groove 17a is approximately a chevron shape and is at approximately orthogonal to both parallel linear movement direction and slanted downward movement direction of the disk housing 3. Consequently, the driving force from the feeding nut 17 to the disk housing 3 is transmitted nearly constantly with excellent efficiency. In this way, when the lid is opened the disk housing 3 ascends to the position at the opening side fronting to the disk insertion entrance 2, thus facilitating the insertion and removing of the disk D.
