PURPOSE:To enable highly accurate machining with an inexpensive device, by pressing the outer circumferential face of a warm releasably from the opposite side of a warm wheel in the central direction of the warm wheel, thereby preventing floating of wheel and ensuring rigidity of the device. CONSTITUTION:When indexing is finished and machining is started, a pressure control valve 56 is operated to feed pressure oil to a cylinder 45 so as to lift a piston 48 while resisting against the force of a coil spring 50 thus pressing against the outer circumferential face of a warm 4 by means of a pressing member 47. Consequently, the warm shaft 5 bends to reduce the gearing gap between the warm wheel 3 and the warm 4 to the minimum necessary level. As a result, the warm wheel 3 is stabilized and the rigidity of the entire device corresponding to the cutting force is exhibited, thus causing no vibration even if the cutting force fluctuates during continuous cutting work, resulting in highly accurate machining. Upon finish of machining, pressure in the cylinder 45 lowers through operation of changeover valve thus returning the gearing gap to a normal level. |
