PURPOSE:To smoothly feed and connect a laminated tape by rapidly traversing said laminated tape based on a signal from the bottom winding detector of said tape and accumulating said tape in an accumulating box, and increasing an exciting voltage for a braking slip coupling based on a signal from a tape end detector. CONSTITUTION:When the quantity of a laminated tape 4 reaches required remaining quantity, a bottom winding detector detects this state and, based on this signal, the laminated tape 4 is rapidly fed and accumulated in an accumulating box 10. At the time of this rapid feeding, when a tape end detector 11 detects a tape end, the shaft of a laminated tape stand 1, (1') is instantaneously stopped via a slip coupling due to the detected signal. When the shaft is stopped, an operator draws out a tape 4 from the following tape stand 1' (1), and connects this tape 4 to the tape 4 on the preceding stage through a welding machine 5. Thereby, the feeding and connecting of the laminated tape 4 can be smoothly carried out without causing the trouble of drawing back the already accumulated tape 4.
