<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a scintillator having high resolving power, by arranging scintillator fibers in a high density substance constituted of a linear body or the linear body and a sheet formed of a high density metal having a high atomic number such as lead having an atomic number larger than 25. CONSTITUTION:A linear body formed of a high density and high atomic number metal such as lead having an atomic number larger than 25 has a fibrous shape and the diameter thereof is not cared but must be constant. As a sheet, there is no limit in a thickness. Herein, in an embodiment A, since scintillator fibers 1 and yarn-shaped lead 2 are respectively almost equal in a fiber diameter, they are arranged in a closest packing structure. Further, the fibers 1 are easy to arrange regularly and the packing of the yarn-shaped leady is easy to uniformly constitute as a hole. In an embodiment B, a high density substance is formed by combining lead sheet 3 and the yarn-shaped lead and the fibers 1 are arranged in the high density substance.</p> |
