PURPOSE:To prevent the cracking of a ceramic substrate by storing the ceramic substrate once in a case providing mounting holes, and fixing the case. CONSTITUTION:If the ceramic substrate is provided with mounting holes and mounted to a machine, the substrate apts to be cracked by stress, etc., due to burrs of a screw or vibration during the shipment of the machine. Therefore, a reflection preventing case 26 storing the substrate and having a window at the position of an optical sensor chip on the substrate disposed on the substrate and having mounting parts for mounting the case itself on the device, is used. The case 26 is the box of rectangular parallelopiped shape formed with, for instance, a light shielding synthetic resin material whose inner dimensions are so determined that the substrate 22 on the parts on it are contained without having a clearance.
