<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a host computer and to prevent stoppage of line even when the host compute is stopping or malfunctioning, by arranging such that respective work terminals can read out information from memory media and display the information onto screens while necessary information is inputted to the memory media. CONSTITUTION:When an operator depresses a key for starting processing in each process, an intelligent work station 2 transmits a manufacturing device code, a process code, a worker code, etc. to a host computer 1, and upon depression of an end key after finish of processing, data in same items as those being transmitted at the start of processing are transmitted together with the inputted data to a computer 1 which stores the received data into a data base. Since similar files as those of respective storage media 4 are contained in the data base of the computer 1, the data base of the computer 1 and the contents of respective storage media 4 are synchronized so long as conventional countermeasure are taken against communication trouble, thereby the work 2 can read out information from the media 4 even if the computer 1 is stopped.</p> |
