PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of collect chuck due to cutting chips, by forming an air take-in port opening to an inner hole for receiving a drill spindle in a pressure foot of a chip removing machine and making an air suction port at a central hole penetrating through the drill. CONSTITUTION:When boring is carried out by means of a drill of a printed board boring machine, a pressure foot 4 lowers prior to lowering of a drill spindle 1 and contacts with a printedboard P. Then a drill spindle 2 lowers with the printedboard P being pressed by the pressure foot 4 so as to carry out boring. Cutting chips are lifted along a groove in the drill D and dispersed centrifugally. A suction air flow A is produced at this time downwardly from an inner hole 7 toward a central hole 10 so as to block lifting of chips thus removing the chips together with the suction air flow through a suction port 22. |
