PURPOSE:To eliminate irregular reflection and to obtain a high definition image by coating parts of the titled detector from which light beam is reflected irregu larly with a reflection preventive material. CONSTITUTION:The parts of the detector other than optical sensor chip 21 is molded with the reflection preventive material(shown by slanted lines) 27. Thereby, the irregular reflection of a light beam from a part such as the pins of an IC of which the reflection ratio is high is prevented. A light beam passes along an optical beam scanning line 23. In this case, a light beam does not reach any parts other then the optical sensor chip 21 on a substrate 22, hence the diffused reflection of the light is prevented.
