PURPOSE:To permit easy exchange of electrodes and to decrease the loss of the electric power to be supplied to the electrodes by forming an aperture to an electrolytic treatment cell body, loading the electrode therein, hermetically sealing the electrode and connecting a conductor directly to the rear of the electrode from he outside of the cell. CONSTITUTION:The aperture 6 having the shape corresponding to the shape of the lower electrodes 7 is formed to the bottom of the electrolytic treatment cell body 5 and the electrode 7 is loaded into the aperture 6. The spacing between the circumferential edges of the aperture 6 and the electrode 7 is sealed by a sealing member 13 (inflated seal, etc.) to prevent leakage of an electrolyte. The electrode 7 is supported and fixed by a supporting means 9 and the conductor 11 for energization is connected to the rear thereof. On the other hand, the upper electrode 8 is hung and supported by a supporting means 10 and the conductor 12 is connected to the rear thereof. A strip 37 is continuously run between the electrodes 7 and 8 in the above-mentioned constitution. The electrolyte is ejected from nozzles 18 and is filled between the two electrodes 7 and 8. The electrolytic treatment is executed by energizing both electrodes 7, 8 and the strip 37. The exchange of the electrode 7, 8 is thereby quickly executed and the quantity of the current to be supplied to the electrodes 7, 8 is decreased. |
