发明名称 GRASPING GROOVE FORMING METHOD FOR CHUCK MECHANISM FOR MULTISTAGE TYPE COLD MOLDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate a regulating work by which grasping mechanisms on both sides are positioned facing each other in a correct position relation and to improve efficiency, by a method wherein a grasping mechanism is formed after a chuck mechanism is assembled in a state in that it can be used in a press molder. CONSTITUTION:In formation of a grasping grooves 18a and 18a pair to chuck claws 18 and 18 of a chuck mechanism 10, a drive shaft 13, rocking shafts 14 and 14, chuck levers 16 and 16, chuck claws 18 and 18, and a chuck mechanism 10 are assembled to a holder 12, and the chuck mechanism is assembled in the same shape as that during mounting of it to a moving frame 6. The chuck mechanism 10 is set to mount jig 20, a regulating nut 27 is fastened against the drive shaft 13 to move the drive shaft 13 in a direction (c) against the force of an energizing means in the holder 12. In a state in that along with the movement of drive shaft, the opening of a pair of the claws 18 and 18 is increased to an opening being wide enough to allow grasping of a blank X, the shaft 13 or the claws 18 and 19 are locked. After the tip of a rodform electrode is registered with the grasping groove forming position of the tip of each of the claws 18 and 18, the electrode is gradually moved downward as it is energized to form the shape of a grasping grooves 18a and 18b pair, conforming to the shape in cross section of the electrode.
