PURPOSE:To provide low noise and less vibrations by connecting compression chambers of two rotary compressing mechanisms in series through a communication passage, and setting the capacity of this communication passage greater than the scavenging volume of that rotary compressing mechanism which is situated at the back stage. CONSTITUTION:Discharge port 16 of No.1 rotary compressing mechanism 5 is connected to the suction port of No.2 rotary compressing mechanism 6 through a piping 25, buffer container 24 and suction pipe 23, and the sum capacity of the piping 25, buffer container 24, suction pipe 23, and discharge port 16 shall be set to a value over the scavenging volume of No.2 rotary compressing mechanism 6. This suppresses generation of pulsation due to out of timing through the buffer action of the discharge port 16, piping 25, buffer container 24, and suction pipe 23, even though the gas discharge timing of No.1 stage compression chamber is dislocated from the gas suction timing of No.2 stage compression chamber, which should contribute to accomplishment of low noise and less vibrations.
