PURPOSE:To obtain a skin drug for external use, having no irritancy to the skin, low temperature-dependence of viscosity and low pour point, excellent storage stability, colorless transparency, tasteless and odorless property and good feeling of use, by blending a liquid low-viscosity low-molecular weight ethylenic copolymer having specific properties. CONSTITUTION:A skin drug for external use obtained by blending a liquid low-molecular weight ethylenic copolymer with 30-70mol% content of ethylenic component and 30-70mol% alpha-olefin component, 150-5,000 number-average molecular weight, <=4 Q value (weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight), <=3 standard deviation value (sigma) of ethylenic component composition and a B value expressed by the formula (PE is the contained mol fraction of the ethylenic component in the copolymer; P0 is the contained mol fraction of alpha-olefinic component; PEO is the contained mol fraction of alpha- olefin.ethylene chain in the total dyad chain) within the range of 1.0-1.5 as a base. The above-mentioned agent is used as cosmetics, e.g. hair cosmetics, hair washing cosmetics, cream milky lotions, etc., depilatory agent, ointment, etc.
