PURPOSE:To peel an adhesive tape after rolling and contact bonding easily by superposing a clad strip onto the surface of a long-sized base material band and preventing displacement in the cross direction of the clad strip. CONSTITUTION:A clad strip 5 in fixed width is delivered along the direction of delivery of a continuously fed long-sized base material band 2 and superposed on the surface of the base material band 2 while an adhesive tape 8 is stuck to a superposing section as being fed, thus fixing the clad strip 5 onto the surface of the base material band 2 in an immovable manner. When the base material band 2 on which the clad strip 5 is stacked is rolled and contact-bonded together with the adhesive tape 8 and a stripe clad band 12 is manufactured, the adhesive tape 8 is peeled while heating the sticking section of the adhesive tape 8 after rolling and contact bonding. Accordingly, the adhesive tape 8 rolled together with the clad strip 5 and the base material band 2 can easily be peeled without releasing even the clad strip 5 from the base material band 2.
