PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of maintaining prescribed sensitivity, even in case of preserving it for long period and having high stability by incorporating silver halide which is spectrally sensitized by specific dye groups to the material. CONSTITUTION:The material contains silver halide which is spectrally sensitized by at least one kind of the dye group shown by formula (I), thereby obtaining the material which is capable of maintaining prescribed sensitivity, even in case of preserving if for the long period, and has stability. In the formula, R0 and R1 are the same with or different from each other, and are hydrogen atom, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy or aryloxy group, etc., and R0 and R1 are not hydrogen atom, simultaneously, R2 is hydrogen atom, alkyl or aryl group, R3 is alkyl, aryl alkoxy or aryloxy group, etc., R4 and R5 are each alkyl group, X is a pair anion, (n) is 0 or 1. In case of forming an inner complex salt, (n) is zero.
