PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled thermometer by shortening the length of a device, by reflecting a radiation energy condensed by a condensing lens, by a reflecting mirror provided by inclining it against an optical axis of the condensing lens, and photodetecting it by a detecting part. CONSTITUTION:A measured light from an object 2 to be measured condensed by a condensing lens 3 is brought to a reciprocating reflection plural times by reflecting mirrors 4, 5 and made incident on a detecting part 6, therefore, length in the longitudinal direction of a device body 1 can be shortened. Also, the reflecting mirrors 4, 5 are provided by inclining them against an optical axis l, therefore, an angle of an incident stray light increases by a reflection of the reflecting mirrors 4, 5, scarcely reaches the detecting part 6, and an influence of the stray light can be reduced. As for the detecting part 6, it is also allowed that the light is led to the outside by providing not only a detecting element for converting a radiation energy to an electric signal but also an optical fiber.
