<p>PURPOSE:To freely set the number of digits of input characters within a single column by setting successively the output positions of those input characters and at the same time displaying said output positions. CONSTITUTION:A vertical expansion instructing part 1 is set and the number of digits is set at a column width setting part 2. Thus, a length confirmation processing part 3 checks both the column width and the character string length. Then, the corresponding character string is outputted into a single column when the column width is equal to or larger than the character string length. Otherwise, the character string is outputted over plural rows and a row number count setting function part 4 gives instruction of a display start point for output of characters by means of a read-over row counter and a write digit counter. Based on this instruction, a character string write processing function part 5 refers to and updates those counters for output of characters. Thus, it is possible to rearrange as desired an array of characters to be outputted into the column of a table.</p> |
