摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a power loss and to improve the efficiency of sludge processing, by a method wherein exhaust compressed air is heated to a high temperature by means of a heater, the air is expanded by means of an air turbine to generate a power, and the exhaust compressed air is utilized as air for combustion to form a reproduction cycle. CONSTITUTION:A pressurized active sludge reactor 1 and an isothermal compressor 2 for multistage intermediate cooling reverse flow compression are provided. A number of air injection nozzles 3 are formed in the bottom of the reactor 1, deflectors 4, serving to circulate sludge, are situated in the reactor. Meanwhile, a heater 6 and a burner 7 are provided, high temperature air flowing out from a heating heat transfer surface 9 is expanded by means of an air turbine 11 to generate a power, and an isothermal compressor 2 and a generator 11 are driven by means of the power. An auxiliary heater 12 is provided, and increases temperature thanks to direct assist combustion of ordinary fuel in order to prevent heating of the heating heat transfer surface 9 to a high temperature when high temperature is generated with the aid of the heater 6.
