PURPOSE:To improve heat absorbing efficiency in a heater, by connecting the plural heaters with plural piston cylinders, arranged on a concentrical circumference, to constitute plural heater collective structures and connecting each heater collective structure with regenerators by plural manifolds. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a Stirling engine, formed by connecting heaters 30, regenerators 40 and coolers 50 successively in series to a plurality (for instance, five) of piston cylinders 20 arranged in a concentrical circumferential state, the heaters 30, being vertically provided in every several quantity (for instance, three) in five manifolds 70 arranged concentrically on a circumference in the outside of each cylinder 20, are constituted as a heater collective structure 30'. Each heater 30, constituted of an outer cylinder 31 and an inner cylinder 32 positioned with a predetermined space C, respectively connects one chamber C1 of the chambers, partitioned by a partitioning wall 36 in the space C, to expansion space in the cylinder 20 through a connection pipe 80 while the other chamber C2 to a mounting hole 71 of the manifold 70 through a gas circulative passage 37.
