USE:A raw material for liposome useful as a surfactant and a drug-including and carrying material. PREPARATION:The compound of formula III can be produced by reacting triacylpentaerythritol of formula II (e.g. tridecanoylpentaerythritol) with phosphorus oxychloride in the presence of a base and reacting the reaction product with a mixed aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
