<p>PURPOSE:To realise a character/graphic processing system with feeling of a writing brush by controlling the thickness of locus lines with the locus signal received from a manual input device and the pressing force signal received from a signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a line drawn by a normal writing tool, like a pencil, a ball pen, a writing brush, etc., is proportional to the three-power or two-power writing pressure. Thus the electric signal supplied from a pressure converter 1 contained in a manual input device 4 is processed together with the locus signal by a processor 6 so that the relative relation is secured between both signals. Then the output signal of the line thickness having the relative relation with the pressing force is outputted to a display device 8 or a printer 9. Thus it is possible to obtain characters and graphics similar to those written by a writing tool.</p> |
