PURPOSE:To correct a transmission error by receiving same digital data for plural number of times and collecting the number of '1's and '0's for each bit. CONSTITUTION:The same digital data are received twice and number of 1s and 0s is collected for each bit. When each bit is all coincident, the data is adopted. If any dissident bit exists, the same data retransmission is requested and the collection of the number of 1s and 0s for each bit is continued further. The data retransmission is requested till the ratio of the total SUM1 of 1s to the total SUM0 of 0s reaches a prescribed value (e.g., 3) and a data having a larger collection is adopted for each bit when the ratio reaches a prescribed value or over. Then even with transmission error in the data, a correct data correction is applied. Figure shows an example of correction finished by 4 time receptions.
