A compartmentation clamp comprises an upper jaw 2 and a lower jaw 1, which are connected by a flexible joint 3. The upper jaw 2 is fitted with teeth 4 separated by gaps 5 and directed towards the lower jaw 1. The latter is substantially flat, is wider, over at least part of its length, than the upper jaw 2, and includes a substantially cylindrical end 7. The upper jaw 2 is bent at its free end, and forms a tab 8 which is split over its entire height and pierced by a hole in which the end 7 of the lower jaw 1 can clip. The slit 9 in the tab 8 tapers at the bend in the jaw 2, and is extended in the said jaw in a recess 10 by means of which, by clamping the top of the tab 8, the jaws 1, 2, joined by clipping, can be detached without using a tool. As designed, this clamp is fitted and removed without using a tool, it does not risk damage to the vein to which it is fixed, and cannot crush it by pivoting around its longitudinal axis. <IMAGE>
